Einfamilienhaus

Completion 2012

This multi-generation house has three separate residential units. Access to the complex is along the garage building, which is detached from the main house.
In the flowing sequence of rooms in the main living unit on the garden level, the dining area is raised three steps above the living room to emphasise the scenic view of the Swabian Alb.
The façade panels in different formats and shades of grey provide a lively contrast to the wooden structures in front. This cold-warm contrast is reflected in the materials used in the interior.

The three-storey detached house is orientated along the existing contour lines and thus offers an unobstructed view of the Nagold valley from all living spaces.
Due to the topography, the building is accessed from the top level. The uses become increasingly private as you move through the individual levels.
A two-storey loggia forms a sheltered outdoor area.
